I'm bipolar an a pot smoker rapid manic I've surferd since last summer this was the second hospital I admitted mysef to. An it was the Best!! Mental health professional excellent let's don't forget those nurse's. An doctor definitely helped. And let's plllleeeaaa don't forget the cook Best food ever an even my favorite a salad bar. Thanks to all an God bless
I liked this facility! The doctor was caring & met with me everyday. Food was good , clean area. Only thing I would personally change is the way the nurses communicate with the clients & I also only got to meet with the case worker one time & she didn’t really do much for me that I couldn’t have done my self could have been linked to some More resources and she was really snappy to me. But the mental health techs are absolutely wonderful along with some of the nurses and the Dr. Would recommend to love ones
The staff is AMAZING here but food is terrible and they are under new management so ALOT has changed since I have been there in 2013. Only get 5 cigarettes a day now. 1 at each break. Used to be able to take your pack outside with you and smoke a couple while you are out there. Used to be a kitchen in the day area that had snacks and drinks in it that isn't there anymore.
Do not listen to those who talk down upon this place. The staff is amazing and the care is impeccable. They are a great group and they really do care. If you're ever feeling down or want to get clean I highly recommend going here. Honestly.
I read a lot of the reviews of this place before going, and I have to say I had very little hope. I'm pleased to say that I was surprised. Was it perfect? No. I think the patient:nurse ratio was off, but they also recently had an influx of patients due to a new contract with a sober home in town. Was the food fine dining? No. It's a rehab center people. We are addicts. This isn't meant to be a vacation or some five star resort. I fully realize why the reviews are so terrible now - because they're written by disgruntled addicts who expected to be treated like a baby. I give kudos to those nurses, they treated everyone I witnessed with a lot more respect and patience than they ever deserved.
