New Concepts

A faith-based outpatient mental health and substance use disorder treatment center, New Concepts is situated in Toledo, Ohio. The facility provides a diverse array of programs that are specifically designed to satisfy the requirements of individuals aged 18 and older, including services that are available to both men and women. For individuals with moderate to severe substance use disorders, they offer three distinct levels of care: medication-assisted treatment (MAT), non-intensive outpatient services, and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). 

The IOP is intended for clients with more severe addictions and necessitates a structured program consisting of three-hour sessions, each scheduled three times week. The non-intensive outpatient program is designed to be a step-down from the IOP or to be a standalone service for individuals who may not fulfill the criteria for more intensive treatment. These programs emphasize the development of life skills, the prevention of relapse, and the maintenance of recovery through the use of individual, group, and family therapy. 

Additionally, New Concepts provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which encompasses the administration of Suboxone and Vivitrol. This treatment is administered under medical supervision to assist clients in suppressing cravings and withdrawal symptoms. A comprehensive recovery process is facilitated by this amalgamation of therapy and medication. New Concepts provides specialized services for adolescents who are coping with mental health and substance use disorders, in addition to adult programs. These services are designed to address the distinct obstacles that younger individuals encounter during their recovery process. New Concepts is committed to providing high-quality care and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Additionally, they accept Medicaid and a variety of other insurance plans, which offers financial flexibility to those who are in need of assistance.
